- Airport: Nice central terminal with on airport café. Two FBO's present. Great Tower ATC personnel!
- Courtesy Car: Yes, aware of at least one associated with Ambassador Jet Center.
- Restaurant(s): Delta Charlie's Bar and Grill. Not trying to be biased, but they have some of the best food that I have had at any on-airport café. Thoughtful service, cook that takes pride in his cooking! Nice feature - outdoor seating and glazed wall toward the runway allows view to aircraft activity. Open every day of the week. < 1 mile
- Historic: The headquarters of the Commerative Air Force (CAF) is located on the airfield. Several WW2 era CAF aircraft are based in their massive hangar there. The CAF sponsors the annual Wings over Dallas Air Show. It is a "must-see"!
- Comments: "Dinner & Flight" can be booked thru Delta Charlie's - 3 course dinner for two and sightseeing tour over Dallas. This is my home airport.

Rusk County | Henderson, TX Visited: 10/02/22, 11/07/20
- Airport: Nice terminal.
- Courtesy Car: Yes, call ahead for availability/reservation.
- Restaurant(s): On our last visit we ate breakfast at Herschel's - Like No Other. Tradional country breakfast fare. Effort had been taken to create a nostalgic environment with murals depicting local points of interest. Various BBQ and country style restaurants in town. Please keep in mind that Sunday morning means that fewer doors to eating venues are open. > 1 mile
- Historic: National Register Downtown Historic Square with shopping, eateries and more. This is a certified Texas Main Street City. Martin Creek Lake State Park nearby.
- Comments: The airport host several fly-ins, airshows and other events throughout the year. The city of Henderson's mantra is "A Texas Main Street City". We previously visited on 11/7/20 and last on 10/2/22.
- Texas Main Street Certified City!

CALDWELL MUNICIPAL AIRPORT | CALDWELL, TX Visited: 09/12/20
- Airport: Small but ample terminal, cold AC & clean restrooms
- Courtesy Car: Yes, but call ahead to get code for lockbox
- Restaurant(s): Lo Nuestro De Mexico - walking distance less than a mile; some of the best tostada chips & hot green tomatillo salsa I have ever had. Great service & great dining experience. < 1 mile

- Airport: Nice terminal.

- Restaurant(s): Hard 8 BBQ will pick up at terminal. < 1 mile
- Historic: Beautiful downtown with many historic treasures, including the old Erath County Courthouse constructed in 1892. Brick paved streets and variety of shops and restaurants along the Main Street district.

Stinson Municipal | San Antonio, tx Visited: 02/28/20
- Airport: Historic Terminal building. The "Gate 1" FBO is located in this terminal.
- Courtesy Car: Available at Gate 1 FBO. 1.5 hour maximum use time.
- Restaurant(s): On-airport café called "Big Bib BBQ" located within the terminal. Nicely situated with a view of the ramp. Of course, there is a never ending of list of wonderful eating establishments in San Antonio > 1 mile
- Historic: Aviation notables, the Stinson family, leased 750 acres at this site from the city in 1915 and established Stinson Field. During WWII, the airfield was used by the US Army Air Forces as a training base.
- Comments: San Antonio is the top tourist destination in Texas. Entertainment, amusement parks, renown River Walk, thriving downtown, historic Alamo and other missions, extensive dining options, etc.

SULFUR SPRINGS MUNICIPAL | SULFUR SPRINGS, TX Visited: 07/23/22, 01/16/21
- Airport: Nice terminal.
- Courtesy Car: Yes, one of vehicles is SUV - this came in handy for us. Cars not available on Sundays unless special arrangements made ahead of time.
- Restaurant(s): On our July trip, we ate at Flips Burgerland - Great food, service and atmosphere. Burger photos prove our point! Also, the Red Barn is within walking distance - great southern menu !Lots of wonderful choices in historic downtown area!
- Historic: Historic downtown area provides numerous dining opportunities, galleries, etc.
- Comments: A Flight-Kicks favorite! On our July visit,we had 4 planes (6 people) participate in our impromptu fly-in at KS LR! This place is a Flight-Kicks favorite! Something for everyone - spouse, children, friend, etc. Charlie has taken family and friends here on more than half a dozen occasions.

- Airport: Nice terminal with lots of aviation photos, art & memorabilia.
- Courtesy Car: Yes, more than one.
- Restaurant(s): Water Street Waffle House & other restaurants along the Leon river, near downtown square; 15 minute drive; farmers market Saturday morning > 1 mile
- Historic downtown square. Biking/walking path along river; beautiful Bell county courthouse in square

Tyler Pounds Airport | Tyler, TX Visited: 05/02/21
- Airport: Nice terminal with meeting spaces and on-airport diner. The Jet Center of Tyler is also at the airport.
- Courtesy Car: We have eaten on-airport on the occasions we have been to this airport, so we do not have personal experience regarding the courtesy car. We are aware that there is one at Jet Center of Tyler. There may be fees involved with its use. Best to call ahead to verify cost/availability.
- Restaurant(s): On-Airport café - "Sky's The Limit Diner". Good burgers and variety of food one would expect at a diner. Closes at 2 PM and is not open on Sundays and Mondays. > 1 mile
- Historic: Historic Aviation Memorial Museum - full spectrum of the various eras of flight - indoor and outdoor exhibits with array of full size aircraft positioned for full walk arounds. With some planning, a tour guide can be provided. Inside, the most incredible exhibit of rare & unusual remote control airplanes (scratch built models).
- Comments: Attended Grumman Pilots Fly-in - 24 Grummans on the tarmac.

Bentonville Municipal / Louis M Thaden Field | bentonville, AR Visited:08/11/21
- Airport: Stunning terminal.
- Courtesy Car: Yes, Limits on usage time w/o fees.
- Restaurant(s): Myriad of choices within just a few miles. We had great meal at Tusk and Trotter. There was also a small café within the terminal itself. < 1 mile
- Historic: Hangar attached to airport FBO houses rotating display of breathtaking vintage aircraft. GameBird manufacturing plant on the airport campus. Crystal Bridges, incredible art museum, only miles away. Lots more to see.
